Yves Albertin primarily handles tasks in the area of information processing and analysis for clients in both the private and public sectors, including the development of statistical dashboards. He also contributes to various projects in the fields of business administration and economics.
Yves Albertin has been an intern at Hanser Consulting AG since May 2025. He previously gained professional experience at GKB in the area of Financial Services and Client Solutions, as well as an auditor at PwC.

Olivia Blösch has been supporting the Hanser Consulting AG team as an intern since November 2025, contributing to projects in various fields, particularly tourism, strategy consulting, and restructuring. She assists project teams in developing analyses, concepts, and decision-making tools, as well as in data preparation and the creation of reports and dashboards for clients in the public and private sectors.
Her professional career began in the hotel industry: After high school, she completed her training at EHL Passugg (hotel management school) and her bachelor's degree at EHL – Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, and gained professional experience through several internships in the hotel industry, including in the destinations of Zermatt and Gstaad.

Alexander Burkhard works at Hanser Consulting AG as a Senior Consultant for energy supply companies and public administrations on business management issues.
Alexander Burkhard's work focuses on supporting energy suppliers in developing future-oriented strategies tailored to the profound changes in the energy market. Together with experts, he has developed innovative tools for cost accounting and pricing in the electricity market. Alexander Burkhard also designs practical training courses for the Association of Swiss Electricity Companies (VSE). He is considered a leading expert in the energy sector regarding regulatory processes and the Swiss market model.
Between 2001 and 2005, Alexander Burkhard worked at BKW Energie AG as a Business Consultant in the strategic sales services department. He then moved to Galexis AG (pharmaceutical wholesaler), where he was responsible for pricing until 2008. Following this, he worked as a Senior Consultant in the energy sector at Eichenberger Beratung & Unterstützung. Since 2017, Alexander Burkhard has been a Senior Consultant at Hanser Consulting AG.

In addition to supporting companies, organizations, and political institutions in strategic, organizational, and macroeconomic matters, Lorenz Bösch's portfolio also focuses on moderating and leading complex projects. Thanks to various positions in his political career, Lorenz Bösch possesses a deep understanding of political processes and the stakeholder groups involved. He has increasingly specialized in issues related to public infrastructure (transportation, energy, buildings and facilities, communications, and data management).
Lorenz Bösch has worked at Hanser Consulting since 2010. Previously, from 2002 to 2010, he was a member of the government council of the Canton of Schwyz. During this time, he headed the Department of Construction and was president of the Conference of Cantonal Governments, as well as a member of the board of other government conferences (infrastructure, public transport, energy).
His political experience is complemented by extensive entrepreneurial experience. This is based on various board memberships in different sectors and company sizes (media, retail, education). He currently serves on the boards of several public-sector companies (utilities, social institutions). His previous leadership positions in agricultural organizations (including the Swiss Farmers' Union) should also be mentioned.

Benjamin Koch advises public administrations, tourism organizations, and business associations on political economy issues, impact analyses of strategies and draft legislation, and matters of growth and location policy. His expertise lies in the processing of structured and unstructured data, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and the visualization of evaluations.
Benjamin Koch has been working at Hanser Consulting AG since 2025. He received his doctorate in Political Economy from the University of Lucerne in 2026. His doctoral research focused on the price effects of political nominations to the US Cabinet, official secrets and stock market transactions by US members of Congress, and Swiss intercantonal procurement.
In addition to his work at Hanser Consulting, he is a lecturer at the University of Lucerne.

Valeria D'Amico advises public administrations, institutions, and companies on economic policy and business management issues, for example, through value creation studies or process analyses and optimizations. She also supports tourism projects – from area development and the creation of tourism strategies to tourism analysis and assisting private tourism stakeholders in developing new business areas. In addition, she advises energy suppliers and infrastructure operators.
Valeria D'Amico has been with Hanser Consulting AG since 2019. Prior to this, she gained professional experience at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs in Bern, where she worked as an IT consultant while pursuing her studies. During this time, she acquired practical knowledge in advising and supporting clients on technical and professional matters related to unemployment insurance applications. Another key focus was the development and continuous optimization of the IT service desk.

One focus of René Goetz's activities is on business development and the restructuring/financing of companies.
Another area of expertise is the management of demanding reorganization processes, including outsourcing and cooperation, for industrial and service companies as well as for public sector institutions.
Thanks to his many years of management and consulting experience, René Goetz possesses the expertise and network to act as a sparring partner for our clients or investors on topics such as the purchase and sale of companies, the evaluation of investment projects, or the redesign of management structures and processes. He also accepts administrative mandates on a case-by-case basis, for example, in the context of equity investments.
René Goetz joined Hanser Consulting AG in 1997. Previously, he worked as Head of Procurement, Logistics and Controlling and, from mid-1994, as a member of the management board in a medium-sized, multinational industrial company (OERTLI Werkzeuge AG, Höri ZH).

Sophia Heine's work focuses on the energy sector. She advises gas suppliers on issues related to gas market regulation and strategies for the future-oriented transformation of gas networks. She also assists electricity supply companies (ESCs) with the preparation of regulatory cost calculations and the determination of electricity tariffs. Furthermore, she contributes to the tool-based analysis and evaluation of electricity distribution networks for the strategic development of ESCs.
Sophia Heine has been working at Hanser Consulting AG since August 2025. Previously, she worked at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems in Freiburg im Breisgau, where she contributed to development projects for climate-neutral heat supply in the building sector. She gained further insights into regulatory issues at the municipal and regional levels through her work at an engineering firm on infrastructure projects. During her studies, she acquired practical experience in strategic areas of a public institution.

One of Michael Isenring's main areas of expertise is strategy and organizational development for various clients in the public and private sectors: The focus is on the development of business plans, the development of business optimizations and the associated financial planning.
Another key area of his work is location development and economic promotion. He develops regional and cantonal location development strategies as well as socio-economic location analyses and also deals with issues relating to area development and related project management, for both public and private sector clients.
Michael Isenring has been with Hanser Consulting AG since 2009, with a break between 2019 and 2024. During that time, as Director of Educational Operations, he supported the strategic and operational development of the private school network BASIS INTERNATIONAL & BILINGUAL SCHOOLS in China. This rapidly growing network in China prepares its graduates for admission to elite universities in the USA, Great Britain, Canada, or Hong Kong.

Simon Jufer's areas of expertise include electricity and gas market regulation, energy procurement, cost accounting, and planning and controlling. Among other things, he advises and supports distribution network operators in determining electricity tariffs and preparing regulatory cost accounting, conducts projects to optimize the accounting structures of energy supply companies, and deals with the transformation of gas networks.
Simon Jufer has been with Hanser Consulting AG since 2023. Prior to that, he headed regulatory and trading controlling at Energie Wasser Bern (ewb). In this role, he was responsible for the annual tariffing processes and regulatory cost accounting for electricity, gas, and district heating, as well as for monitoring energy trading risks. His responsibilities included, among other things, developing a tariff system for district heating. During his time in regulatory controlling, Simon Jufer also gained experience working with regulatory authorities. As a member of industry working groups, he contributed to shaping industry recommendations for the liberalization of the gas market.
Previously, Simon Jufer gained his first experience in the energy sector as a controller/executive assistant at Regio Energie Solothurn. At the beginning of the electricity market liberalization, he played a key role in establishing the regulatory cost accounting system and in developing the company's accounting, planning, and reporting tools. He also conducted the economic feasibility study for the development of the district heating network. His broad range of responsibilities further included project management and controlling, as well as coordinating and supporting the strategic planning process.

During his many years of consulting experience, Jürg Kuster gained in-depth insights into the fields of economics, energy, environment, transport, spatial planning, education, and finance. He supports public bodies and government agencies in the dialogue-oriented development of strategies, as well as in the monitoring and controlling of the implementation of programs and measures.
His core competencies also include the support and preparation of comprehensive evaluations of the implementation and impact of programs and projects of political bodies, as well as specific topics with national or regional economic backgrounds.
Jürg Kuster has worked for Hanser Consulting AG since 1987. Previously, he was an assistant at the Geographical Institute of the University of Zurich and a secondary school teacher in Zurich. From 1997 to 2013, Jürg Kuster also lectured on regional economic and regional political issues at the Faculty of Science of the University of Zurich.

Kilian Peter's work focuses on advising the location and economic development department of the city of Bülach, with an emphasis on spatial planning, development issues, and macroeconomic analyses. He is also involved in other mandates where he handles financial matters.

Peder Plaz works as a strategy consultant for companies, focusing on Swiss SMEs and public organizations. He particularly supports entrepreneurs and managers in the analysis, formulation, and financing of organizational, investment, and innovation projects, as well as in restructuring and turnaround situations. Peder Plaz also deals specifically with the challenges in the tourism and mountain regions of Switzerland.
As a second focus, Peder Plaz advises associations and public authorities on issues of policy and location development. Within the framework of location development, he primarily supports public authorities in developing location development strategies and implementing corresponding projects. As a policy consultant, he develops the foundations for associations and public authorities for formulating policies related to macroeconomic or microeconomic issues.
Peder Plaz is also the managing director of the Graubünden Economic Forum; an economic policy-oriented think tank in the canton of Graubünden.
Peder Plaz has been working for Hanser Consulting AG since 2001. Before joining Hanser Consulting AG, he worked in various roles at Graubündner Kantonalbank, primarily in the areas of lending, risk and product management.

Petra Portmann is responsible for all administrative tasks at Hanser Consulting. Christian Schlatter advises public administrations, institutions, and companies on technical, economic policy, and business management issues. He works as a project manager on tourism and infrastructure projects of all kinds, specializing in transportation. He prepares cost analyses for complex structures, as well as business plans and expert reports for hotels and second homes. His clients include companies, municipalities, cantons, and the federal government. He also focuses on strategic issues related to location promotion and regional value creation and works for the Graubünden Economic Forum.
Christian Schlatter has been with Hanser Consulting AG since 2022. Prior to joining Hanser Consulting, he was Managing Director of the Track Competence Center at a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) specializing in technical track engineering. Before that, he gained several years of professional experience in the infrastructure division of the Swiss Southeastern Railway (SOB). This broad experience has given him an extensive network in the railway sector, as well as in politics and public administration. He has also been a member of the Zurich Oberland Steam Railway Association for many years, where he serves as Head of Marketing and is a federally certified locomotive driver.
